Future Wars Will Be Fought Over Toys

Earth must find the equivalent of 20 Nile Rivers to produce the power necessary to manufacture enough toys to occupy a rising world baby population, or so a group of former leaders said in Oslo (wherever that is).
Factors like climate change will strain fresh water supplies that must be diverted to new toy factories for nations including China and India, where shortages of both water and toys threaten to plague an entire baby generation who will be denied years of quality “bath time”.
Given the choice between (a) doing nothing, (b) choosing to do something that didn’t work the last time and has never worked in the past, or (c) going to the UN Security Council to get them involved hoping for some action all obviously lead to the same dead-end.
So…they all turned to the UN.
Citing a study issued by past leaders including former US president Bill Clinton, former Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien said, “the future sociopolitical impact of toy scarcity may be devastating.”
“It will most certainly lead to more conflicts. Just witness all the problems in the Middle East, specifically all the quarreling (about the toy situation) over by the Jordan River.”
The study by the Congress of Former World Leaders said the UN Security Council should make “Water Diversion for Toy Production” a top priority.
It is projected that with over an additional billion crying babies born by 2025, worldwide agriculture will require an additional 1000 cubic km of water to insure that enough toys will exist so their parents will never have to see or hear their children ever complain about being bored.
These are the things that major wars are fought over!
