Israeli Jews Too Tolerant
September 11, 2012
Jewish Humour
Senior Vatican officials in Jerusalem have praised Israeli authorities for their broadmindedness, religious tolerance and most importantly for their ability to rapidly respond to problems affecting Christian groups.
A local clergyman in the Holy Land credits an Israeli culture that encourages Jewish children to treat Christians with respect, making Israel “one of the most livable and loveable places on earth.”
The Church’s interest to comment came soon after Jewish neighbors helped clean up the front yard of a Trappist monastery left in a state of disrepute after many years of neglect.
The doors of the monastery were also painted, its walls recovered and a new welcome mat was delivered courtesy of the local Tel Aviv Walmart.
The incident is the latest in a series of Israeli Jewish acts of “love your neighbor” that spontaneously occur near all places of worship. Senior fellow clergymen of every denomination have also heaped international praise on the success of the Israeli public to make life wonderful for non-Jews.
The Assembly of Catholic Ordinaries of the Holy Land issued a statement asking, “Why aren’t more Christians moving to Israel? Oh yes, because it is a Jewish state. Anyway, we’ll always have Rome.”
By the way, seeing as you’re still around, even if you’re not shopping for a Sukkah, for a laugh visit Hy’s Hemp Sukkahs. THIS IS ONE VERY FUNNY JOKE AD.
