An Urgent Message to our Reader(s)
Our loosely based network of informants known as “off-the-record” has threatened to form a single source by joining rivals ‘unnamed sources’ .
If we were ever to take a stand on anything, it just might be on something like this.
By receiving our information from a single source, our news reports will be even mores biased than before!
We prefer the old days when unidentified sources with slippery names only wanted a cup of coffee and a few dollars. Not pensions with lifetime perks.
And while we’re at it, we’re also nostalgic for informants who see themselves like the great Walmart employees of the past i.e. without benefits or guaranteed breaks. Resources are already spread as thin as possible to further speculate and tale-spin.
Let’s be clear: At Funny And Jewish we don’t repeat rumors. We only say them once so we must be careful. The odds are in our favour that we will eventually get it right.
In seven and a half words, we won’t be bullied or back down.
We are juiced and if anything, more encouraged than ever to provide more unaccredited opinions, conjecture and raw, unsubstantiated factoids from a greater myriad of unconfirmed sources… just like in the good ‘ol days. Just the way our loyal Funny And Jewish Reader(s) have come to expect.
